Recordus is a one-time purchase that works on all your Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Recording, transcription, summaries, sync and export are all included. Ask, which answers questions about your recordings, is an optional subscription with a free trial.

Not for recording or transcription: both work without a connection, so you can capture and transcribe anywhere. iCloud sync needs a connection.

Recordus uses Apple's SpeechAnalyzer framework for on-device transcription, running on your device's Neural Engine.

Smart Summaries use Apple Foundation Models to analyze your transcripts and generate concise summaries, key points, and action items. Great for meetings, lectures, and voice notes.

Recordus uses Apple's iCloud to sync your recordings, transcriptions, and settings automatically. Just sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices.

Yes! Export recordings as M4A or WAV audio files, and transcripts as plain text. Share via any app using the standard iOS share sheet.

Yes! Record voice memos directly from your wrist. Recordings sync to your iPhone and other devices via iCloud.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any App Store purchase.

Not your content. Recordings, transcriptions and searches are kept on your device and in your iCloud account, and Recordus does not send them to us. From version 1.2.1 the app also sends anonymous crash and usage telemetry describing only what the app did, and you can switch either off in Settings › Privacy. No ads, no tracking.
